The new Honor X8b doesn’t alter much in the design aspect as compared to the Honor X8. However, on the front side, you get a dynamic island-type notch housing a selfie camera and flash. The display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Other attributes here include 3240Hz PWM dimming and 2000nits of peak brightness. Honor ships this guy in three color options: Glamorous Green, Titanium Silver, and Midnight Black.
The Honor X8b is powered by the same Snapdragon 680 chipset as the X8. This 6nm fabbed SoC features four cores Kryo 265 Gold (Cortex-A73) at 2.4GHz and 4 cores Kryo 265 Silver (Cortex-A53) at 1.9GHz. Handling the graphics job is an Adreno 610 GPU. Honor has paired this chip with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. As for the software, it boots on MagicOS 7.2 built on top of Android 13.
The smartphone gets a triple camera setup. It is headlined by a 108MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Likewise, you get a 50MP snapper upfront for selfies and video calls.
The Honor X8b gets its fuel from a 4,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Meanwhile, for biometrics security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
